Welcome to KLP laboratory!


Major topics of KLP lab. are Korean morphological/lexical analysis, Korean parsing(syntactic analysis), Hangul spelling check, Hangul codes and other problems about the Korean language. KLP lab. provides commercial-level solutions that are directly integrated to application softwares of any S/W development company. KLP lab. is a solution provider for Korean language processing and many software companies are using our Korean morphological analyzer and Hangul speller as a part of their application softwares. KLP lab. is a leading Korean language processing laboratory and is going to be a research & engineering center for Korean language processing. Major interests of KLP lab. are
HAM librarary version 4.81 is released. It is available to the licensed customers because shareware version was not prepared yet. Current shareware version is version 4.70b.

New Features of HAM version 4.81

  1. Unicode 2.0 support
  2. Text-level extraction of stems as well as word/sentence-level.
  3. Modifications of extracting verb/adjective/determiner

Features of HAM version 4.70b

  1. Korean spell check/suggestion --> included in "Namo Web Editor version 3.0"

  2. Noun is extracted for the sentences without blanks, applying Automatic Word Spacing. (It is indispensible for the law-titles in the law documents!)

  3. Numeral normalization --> Arabic number and Hangul numerals like "À̹é»ï½Ê¿À¸¸¿ø", "ÀÌ¹é »ï½Ê ¿À¸¸¿ø", "2¹é3½Ê5¸¸¿ø", 235¸¸¿ø" are normalized into Arabic number "2350000¿ø".

  4. Simplication of library API --> easy to integrate to the application S/W.

Execution files in HAM version 4.70b

Shareware version version 4.70b has a functional and periodical limitation. It only works till December, 2000 and some stems are distorted into English strings. Brief description of HAM library is as follows.
